Photography

I am a semi-amateur photographer and always will be. Photography is an escape for me, it is a chance to slow down and take a closer look at things I might have otherwise not noticed.

I shoot 35mm film with a fully manual single lens reflex camera. I process the film myself to control contrast, grain, and tones. To have complete control over the finished image I print on a variety of photographic papers and will use selenium and/or sepia toners to improve longevity and aesthetics.

All prints are handmade in a darkroom on black and white silver gelatin photographic papers.
